The Bible and the cultural world from which the Bible sprang have had an enormous influence on our 21st century. There is an intense need for an organization whose purpose is to seek out a better understanding of the scripture through not only archaeological research efforts, but also to study the surrounding cultures more thoroughly. This would include Palestine, of course, but also Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and many other cultures. This understanding of the multiple cultures is what HRI is attempting to accomplish.
The Hartman Research Institute provides reports of unique research efforts to the public, offers publication opportunities for students, and participates in annual conferences. HRI also hopes to one day open an educational facility where students would have the opportunity to learn more about archaeology, the Bible, and ancient languages, as well as, learn how to perform research, and write academic papers.
If you have any further questions or would like to know how your own research could be published, please contact Reagan Miller at reagan@cbrgroup.org.
